Live Press: Synchronous Blog Updates at Live Journal via WordPress
Since starting my WordPress blog at my own site, I’d been in withdrawal from the friends and communities at LJ. But now I can update my blog in two places, WordPress and Live Journal (LJ), at the same time, using a plugin called Live Press.
For those of you who blog on your own site using WordPress, as well as at Live Journal, this WordPress Plugin allows synchronous posting at Live Journal via WordPress. My husband and I finally got this working today, so I can rejoin life at LJ without disrupting the flow of
The Live Press Plugin can be downloaded at the bottom of the developer’s post on his blog, Dev Blog v 0.0.

I should add here that I have experienced a few glitches with this. For instance, the LiveJournal “LJ-cut” command and the WordPress “more” command seem to collide with each other (not a technical term, obviously, but my non-techie perception of it). I also don’t like that even if I opt not to synchronize an edit, the edit appears on my LiveJournal. I actually have to deactivate the plug-in in order to get around that. But overall I’m still happy with this plug-in.
