I haven’t read it again, but maybe I should. I read “The Great Gatsby” many, many (I’m embarrassed to say I don’t recall exactly how many) years ago, in high school or college. It’s not a mystery and has no factual information about holiday celebrations, it’s more of a cozy read about people drawing together and reaching out to each other in the darkest days of the year and their lives. It starts slowly and draws many disparate threads together by the end. I recommend it highly. Every holiday season I also read a book titled Winter Solstice by Rosamunde Picher.
